FLOW: The Nature of Duality

An Immersive Equinox Retreat

September 24–27, 2026 | Bask Retreat Center – Centerville, TN

The Invitation

True balance isn’t a static point where all movement stops; it is the art of moving gracefully between life’s inevitable forces.

Held during the potent energetic window of the Fall Equinox, FLOW: The Nature of Duality is a deeply immersive four-day retreat designed to guide you out of the noise of modern separation and back into your natural center—the Dao.

Through the intentional exploration of polarities—light and shadow, effort and ease, expansion and contraction—we discover that the opposites we experience are not conflicts, but partners. When we embrace both sides of the coin, we stop resisting life and begin to flow with it.

This is an invitation to move beyond the illusion of division, touch the oneness of who you truly are, and anchor into the clarity, wise view, and security of divine knowing.

This Retreat is for You If…

  • You feel caught in the cycle of “either/or” thinking. You find yourself toggling between extreme effort and total burnout, rigid control and chaos, or showing up for everyone else while neglecting yourself.
  • Your nervous system is ready for deep restoration. You crave a sacred space where you don’t have to manage, plan, or perform, and you want to learn how to navigate life’s stressors without losing your center.
  • You are navigating an inner transition. You are ready to look at your hidden blocks, integrate the conflicting parts of your inner world, and step into a more anchored, whole version of yourself.
  • You desire a return to simplicity and nature. You want to disconnect from digital noise and reconnect with the foundational elements—earth, water, fire, and air—alongside a conscious, welcoming community.

What You’ll Gain

  • Nervous System Resilience: Through the physical practice of contrast therapy and somatic breathwork, you will train your body to move smoothly between high-intensity states and deep relaxation, expanding your natural capacity for peace.
  • Internal Alignment & Wholeness: By exploring somatic parts work, you will stop fighting against your own inner conflicts and learn to hold your shadows, fears, and strengths with equal grace.
  • Grounded Clarity & Intuition: You will leave with an elevated view of your life’s current chapter, anchored in a deep sense of internal security and trust in divine knowing.
  • Practical Embodiment Tools: A personalized set of practices—from elemental rituals to mindful movement—that you can seamlessly carry back into your daily routine to stay centered long after the equinox passes.

The Journey & Practices

We will use the wisdom of Yin and Yang as our map, utilizing potent modalities to bridge the mind, body, and spirit:

  • Contrast Therapy: Experience the profound physical and mental alchemy of moving between hot and cold, teaching your nervous system the ultimate lesson in resilience, surrender, and balance.

  • Somatic Parts Work Enquiry & Breathwork: Dive deep into the wisdom of both body and mind. Through guided enquiry, we will meet, listen to, and integrate polarized parts of ourselves, using the breath to release stored tension and discover how these parts can become our allies.

  • Aerial & Mat Yoga: Explore flight and groundedness, strength and flexibility. Open to all yoga levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

  • Elemental Rituals: Journey deeply through the foundational forces of nature. We will work directly with Earth, Water, Fire, and Air to find our center, ground our intentions, and anchor into ultimate truth.

Nourishment & Sanctuary

Gourmet Culinary Experience

Nourishment is a vital part of integration. Throughout the weekend, you will be treated to exceptional, mindfully prepared meals crafted by our gourmet chef. Designed to support your physical practice and delight the senses, each dish celebrates seasonal ingredients that mirror the grounding, balancing energy of the autumn equinox.

Sanctuary: Bask Retreat Center

Our container for this journey is Bask Retreat Center, a nonprofit nature sanctuary nestled on 42 acres of pristine land in Centerville, Tennessee (just 90 minutes outside Nashville).

Dedicated to holistic health, land restoration, and spiritual education, Bask is a living prayer of intention. Between sessions, you can wander through winding nature trails, listen to the medicine of flowing creeks, and rest deeply in cozy cabins and sacred geodesic domes. The land itself will hold you, ground you, and mirror the restoration happening within.
